Hello. I’m San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association President Jim Taylor. Being the leader of our historic association for the past six years has certainly had its challenges. We survived Covid, and an Equine Virus strengthened by the support of our totally awesome city council and also numerous local corporate sponsors who did not request a refund when the parade was cancelled. Our organization is so grateful to our community for supporting us. I am convinced this is because, through challenging times, the Swallows Day Parade has always brought us together in one large celebration of the incredible history of our beautiful city. We simply ask that you continue your support as we prepare for the 64th annual Swallows Day Parade and events in 2024.

The SJC Fiesta Association receives our “Blessing” from our very supportiveSJC City Council for the 2023 Swallows Day Parade and Events.
We were also joined by the OC Sheriff’s Department, the OC Fire Department and the entire City Council in honoring Ambuehl Elementary School student Edward with many gifts for his bravery recovering from a Brain Tumour. His family was truly grateful. One of his most awesome gifts will be to ride in a Fire Engine with the Sheriff’s and Fire Department in the 2023 Swallows Day Parade on Saturday, March 25th. The Fiesta Association also declared him an honorary Fiesta member with his own Hat, Vest and Sheriff’s Badge. Our 2023 Senior San Juan Fiesta representatives, Daniele Smith and John “Fish” Fischle also gifted Mayor Hart with a 2023 Fiesta Association Belt Buckle. Wow! What a meeting!
